About the role
- Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
- Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
- Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
- Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
- Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives
- Partner across business and technology teams to ensure the data strategy is insight-driven, business-aligned, and future-ready
- Support the development and refinement of data objectives that align with Enterprise Data goals and broader organizational priorities
- Collaborate with business leaders, technology partners, and the data community to assess data needs and shape strategic direction
- Provide input into solutions for data remediation, modernization, and transformation efforts, while ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in, governance, and AI/ML; provide recommendations to inform strategic planning
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data strategy, data governance, or enterprise data management roles
- Proven ability to develop strategic objectives aligned to business goals and data priorities
- Strong understanding of enterprise data concepts, including governance, quality, metadata, and architecture
- Demonstrated experience in partnering with cross-functional teams across business and technology
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data needs
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel for strategic presentations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- High attention to detail
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
