About the role
- Obtain Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) through dedicated classes and study time.
- Acquire, build and manage client relationships; consider clients' complex financial picture and provide advice and solutions.
- Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities.
- Work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and approach to client care.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners (Bank of America and Merrill) to connect clients to solutions.
- Use a defined consultative approach to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions.
- Progress through development stages (FSA I to FSA II) with support from Academy programs, tools, and resources.
Requirements
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
- Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired; Series 7 & Series 66 within 120 days (63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66).
- Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential loan mortgage originations; required to register and submit to required SAFE Act background check and registration process.
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
- Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
- Desired: Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
