About the role

  • Participate in dedicated training to obtain SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses
  • Acquire, build and manage client relationships using a consultative approach
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions and client care
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners (Bank of America and Merrill)
  • Start training at a financial center, then work in a financial center or phone-based capacity depending on business needs
  • Progress from Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I to Stage II and pursue advancement within Bank of America and Merrill
  • Use defined consultative approach and leverage company relationships to grow business

Requirements

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) within 30 days of hire
  • Obtain Series 7 and Series 66 (63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66) within 120 days of hire
  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired)
  • SAFE Act registration required for employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations; subject to background check and federal registry
