About the role

  • Perform moderately complex activities supporting the assignment, sourcing, gathering, furnishing and movement of financial and client information and data according to established guidelines and procedures
  • Support fund setup, client identification data, pricing, and cost basis reporting
  • Provide quality service and effective operations support for internal business partners and external clients
  • Respond to moderately complex client inquiries via numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service
  • Review and approve required account documentation
  • Identify risk and opportunities for process improvement based on understanding of how work impacts other operational units
  • Maintain knowledge of operational processes and assist in training less experienced team members
  • Provide technical and analytical support in GWIM operations for product areas (e.g., funds transfer, collateral management/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support, clearance/settlement, documentation/confirmations, customer service, new accounts, client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing)
  • Analyze and resolve moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and coordination with multiple operational/product specialists
  • Participate in projects and introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services, and processes
  • Act as a unit advisor providing technical support to less experienced associates

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant business experience
  • Ability to execute and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Proven analytical mindset and quantitative capabilities, with some experience working with large data sets
  • Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and projects independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Highly organized with a self-starter attitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to hold others accountable
  • Proven ability to provide comprehensive solutions to complex needs and/or problems
  • Experience with process improvement and ability to analyze processes and recommend changes
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and intellectual curiosity to drive change
