About the role
- Obtain Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) through structured lessons and dedicated study time
- Acquire, build and manage client relationships and deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions
- Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to Bank of America and Merrill solutions
- Work in a financial center to interact with banking customers, small business owners and higher net worth clients
- Progress through advisor development stages with support from the Academy and dedicated programs, tools, and resources
- Comply with SAFE Act registration requirements when engaged in mortgage originations
Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish required
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66)
- Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire & Series 7 & 66 within 120 days
- Self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and learn and adapt to new technology/applications
- SAFE Act registration required for employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations (background check and registration)
- Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Desired: Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience
