About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes
Ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved
Establishing a test and automation strategy
Creating common test frameworks
Defining and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting
Understanding and implementing internal/external mandate
Ensuring compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments
Managing traceability
Leading testing activities across treasury and payment systems
Developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts across functional, integration, and component testing phases
Collaborating with teams for end-to-end (E2E) validation
Performing detailed data analysis and validation using complex SQL queries across multiple systems
Validating XML/JSON payloads and API integrations
Analyzing and testing mappings, workflows, and middleware processes
Contributing to automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
Participating in CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
Strong understanding of system design and microservices architecture
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, Litmus)
Relevant IT experience in Agile environments, preferably within the financial domain
Strong experience in Java, web services, and SQL/PLSQL (Oracle)
Strong knowledge of XML and JSON within API and microservices implementations at scale
Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex cross-system queries
Experience with UNIX, shell scripting, and regular expressions (RegEx)
Strong experience (3+ years) in parsing and generating data/files, banking standards, XML, and XPath
Hands-on experience with tools such as Eclipse/NetBeans, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Litmus, Bitbucket (or similar version control tools), and web services testing tools
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and triaging skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt, applying prior experience to new challenges.
