About the role

  • Lead the overall service delivery model including the bank's digital offerings and wealth management banking strategy in the market
  • Partner with the market leadership team, Market Executives, Resident Directors, Financial Advisors, Wealth Management Client Associates, and Wealth Management Associates to facilitate daily business needs
  • Drive responsible growth while minimizing regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks
  • Manage Wealth Management Client Associates, Operations support staff, and the branch's Operations Department
  • Deliver firm strategy through execution of the Market Strategy Plans and serve as Lead and Referral Coordinator for the market
  • Partner closely with advisor teams to deliver a branded client service model focusing on digital solutions and enterprise capabilities
  • Manage market expenses and represent the office with clients, prospects, recruits, vendors, regulators, and outside legal counsel
  • Supervise financial transactions and operations to drive risk management best practices and ensure compliance; prepare to manage branch audits
  • Hire, develop and lead cross-functional teams and coach staff to deliver a modern, digital-first service model

Requirements

  • Currently hold SIE, Series 7 AND Series 66 (or Series 63 AND Series 65), Series 9 AND Series 10 (or Series 8) or equivalent licenses and Series 3, 31 licenses, if warranted
  • Minimum of 5+ years professional experience
  • Current or previous Merrill Wealth Management experience strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated and client centric
  • Expert knowledge of regulatory and supervisory requirements and corporate policies and procedures
  • Investment product knowledge (i.e., 401K, Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, Trust Operations, etc.)
  • Prior trend analysis experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong management skills, including the ability to effectively plan, monitor, influence, negotiate, supervise and delegate
  • Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (desired)
