About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive financial solutions to small businesses with annual revenues up to $20 million
- Actively manage and deepen relationships with high value and opportunity clients
- Support growth of the profitability of the small business customer base
- Identify, develop, and drive results while acquiring new client opportunities
- Open core small business accounts adhering to procedural guidelines
- Deliver a branded customer experience while being in the field a minimum of 80% of the time
- Foster relationships with key partners to increase small business opportunities
- Advise small business owners on solutions, services, and digital capabilities
- Support execution of the sales delivery model to achieve targeted performance and growth
- Coach and develop associates while embodying a client and employee-centric culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven success in consultative sales in financial services and/or business-to-business sales
- Demonstrated success improving business financial outcomes by interpreting financial statements
- Passionate about outside sales and enjoys prospecting
- Motivated to enhance existing relationships and exceed sales goals
- Ability to analyze financial conditions of clients and industry trends
- Experience understanding and interpreting financial statements and cash flow analysis
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability
- Skills in partnering and negotiating with a team to solve client issues
- Management of a client portfolio focused on relationship development and deepening
- Thorough knowledge of small business financial products and services
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and other banking systems
