Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Senior Reporting Analyst (Sr Business Control Specialist) will be accountable for the design, analysis, execution, and overall management of a reporting portfolio that consists of both existing and new requests
  • Analyst will need to approach and challenge existing manual processes with philosophy of mitigating risk and improving operational efficiency
  • Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards
  • Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation
  • Supports the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience in a role accountable for reporting
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (nested/advanced formulas and pivots at a minimum)
  • Ability to write and execute SQL research, source and deliver data from various databases and platforms
  • Aptitude for learning new skills, tools, and processes
  • Problem solving in determining root cause of issues and finding solution to avoid repeat issues
  • Strong analytical skills including awareness of data inaccuracies and solution-focused problem-solving ability
  • Strong time and organizational management; ability to work in fast paced environment and manage changing priorities
  • Act with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality
  • Take ownership
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
