About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • maximize the value for one or more products
  • working with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with product managers or specialists to ensure they are aligning on priorities
  • creating the vision and roadmap for the product
  • ensuring delivery of products that meet the expectations of our clients
  • defining the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog
  • articulating product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the development team
  • collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems
  • creating and prioritizing work for one team
  • creating and prioritizing stories in the product backlog
  • refining stories with the team to ensure there are enough ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints
  • reviewing and accepting stories and making on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements
  • working in partnership with the team to ensure optimum value is obtained through technology

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years relevant work experience with business and technology projects including process improvement/re-engineering and technology change efforts
  • Knowledge of project tools (JIRA experience preferred)
  • User Acceptance Testing experience
  • Experience with and knowledge of Agile project management methodology
  • Process design oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and in Visio
  • Strong decision making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills
  • Must be proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, determined and positive – especially under pressure
  • Critical thinker and risk minded
