About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Observe and support application components and related infrastructure, acts as the first point of contact to troubleshot, and responds to alerts regarding potential production issues
Interpret and monitor dashboards, tools, and reports to proactively identify and address potential issues prior to production impact
Respond to alerts regarding potential production incidents
Implement, monitor, and improve DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and streamline software delivery
Administer Linux servers for hosting applications, ensuring system security, performance, and reliability
Troubleshoot complex technical challenges, ensuring system stability, performance, and scalability
Develop dashboards with Grafana to monitor real-time logs, server health check etc.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience with languages like Bash scripting and Python
Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
Unix background with experience of supporting containerized application (Podman, Docker, Openshift, or Kubernetes)
Understanding of storage and data replication platforms: CEPH, Ozone, HDFS
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux principles and security
Drive data visualization and analytics initiatives using Tableau, Grafana and Apache superset
In-depth knowledge of relational databases Postgres
Experience with Hadoop
