Key responsibilities & impact

This job is responsible for oversight of executive protection teams and activities within a specific geographic region and the health, safety, and physical security of all attendees at Bank of America sponsored or hosted events.
Key responsibilities include the development and implementation of security plans and protocols, direction of activities to ensure safety and security of the senior management team and bank events, and delivery of threat analysis across various platforms with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive security plans and protocols, ensuring the safety of clients and associates, and confirming that proper screening and vetting procedures are executed for all event guests.
The Major Events Security Manager must be capable of responding to all medical situations and may serve as the first responder on scene, performing first-responder duties as required.
Responsibilities include managing ongoing incidents, medical conditions, and/or event-related investigations while simultaneously maintaining overall event security oversight with planners, event staff, additional security resources, and venue partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security management role
Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written) and be able to interact with internal customers/leadership and external partners.
Proven experience in managing teams and coordinating with private security and law enforcement agencies.
Proven critical thinking under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated/self-starter.
Influencer – Must have the ability to interact and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions on appropriate security resources.
Adaptability
Durability
Solid Computer Skills – working with MS Office suite.
Must be able to respond to matters and issues off regular work hours.
Problem Solver – Must have the ability to solve problems to ensure sufficient security and safety strategies are applied.
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to travel (domestic & international) as needed.
