About the role
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities for Japan
- Collaborate closely with payroll vendors and internal/external auditors
- Ensure operational compliance with local laws and regulations
- Prepare payroll performance metrics and statutory reports
- Participate in payroll system testing and process enhancements
- Contribute to global payroll projects and broader HR initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional HR experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience
- Strong understanding of Asia payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Experience in accounting or financial reporting is advantageous
- SAP Payroll experience preferred
- Proactive team player with a positive attitude
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
