About the role

  • Testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes
  • Ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved
  • Establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks
  • Defining and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting
  • Understanding and implementing internal/external mandate
  • Ensuring compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments
  • Managing traceability
  • Assisting in the preparation and conduction of Quality Control and Quality Assurance for complex and large Technology Development projects
  • Working as a member of a project team to develop and maintain Automation scripts using Cucumber\Selenium
  • Executing automation scripts, prepare execution reports and log defects

Requirements

  • 6+ years of total IT experience
  • 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in Test Automation projects as an automation developer
  • Minimum of 3 years of development experience, preferably Java
  • MUST have experience with test automation tools (Cucumber, Selenium, HP UFT)
  • Hands-On knowledge in OOPS concept, automation development, debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Jasmin, jersey, etc.)
  • Design and develop enterprise wide, re-usable testing productivity components and/or frameworks
  • Experience in version control tools like Bitbucket, SVN
  • Experience in build tools like Maven, ANT
  • Experience in working on project using matured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and models: i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, etc.
  • QA Process/Methodology and Business acumen in technical development organization
  • Experience in using one or more SDLC tools – JIRA or HP ALM
  • Experience working with onshore/offshore model
