About the role
- Design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery.
- Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality.
- Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
- Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.
- Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria.
- Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team.
Requirements
- Five plus years with recent experience in designing and developing new applications in Java, Angular, SQL Server or Oracle.
- Five plus years experience using Java (SpringBoot) technologies to develop scalable enterprise-grade applications, libraries, and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka.
- Utilized DevOps technologies for CI/CD including Ansible, Jenkins, JFrog, and Git.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
- Strong understanding of software development, testing, deployment, and support using agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
