As a key member of the DevOps team, you will be responsible for deployment, middleware, and environment management across lower-level test environments.
Collaborate with Technology Infrastructure, Development, and Testing teams to support integrated and independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, and server maintenance.
Perform advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and root cause resolution for incidents and problems, including escalations from advisory users.
Partner with subject matter experts to resolve complex issues involving technologies supported by partner teams.
Monitor environments during releases and independent changes, ensuring accurate tracking of production changes.
Identify opportunities to improve monitoring, application stability, and root cause analysis speed.
Debug and troubleshoot performance and software issues across multiple environments.
Manage changes, defects, and projects across testing and production environments.
Handle multiple tasks/projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively.
Support after-hours and weekend release activities as needed.
Perform defect triage in application testing environments.
Deploy code and retrofit production code as required.
Communicate with clients and consult on infrastructure design.
Rebuild servers and apply system patches.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Foster strong partnerships and communication with internal customers and partner teams.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Windows middleware engineering
Hands-on experience with at least one middleware product (e.g., Appian)
Proficiency in Windows operating systems
Strong Java/container framework experience
Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Perl
Experience with release deployment tools (e.g., Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, Bitbucket, Celestial)
Willingness to work after hours and weekends to support release changes
