About the role
- Serve as the primary engineer and subject matter expert for SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE)
- Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint SE farms, including patching, upgrades, service applications, and custom solutions
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the SharePoint SE environment
- Provide secondary support for SharePoint Online, including site architecture, permissions, and governance
- Administer OneDrive for Business, ensuring reliable access and integration with Microsoft 365 services
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored SharePoint SE solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and support guides
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and other tools
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and data governance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Server, including Subscription Edition (SE)
- Deep understanding of SharePoint SE architecture, farm configuration, and administration
- Experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business in enterprise environments
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
