About the role

  • Control Framework Deployment & Coverage: Contribute to the design, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of control frameworks for financial processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards, best practices, and Mars & MVH requirements.
  • Gap Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report progress on closing the current 300 open ICE gaps, providing regular updates to division and segment leadership.
  • Implementation & Self-Testing: Coordinate with regional and banner teams to drive the implementation and self-testing of financial controls, including documentation, walkthroughs, and control testing cycles.
  • Audit Collaboration & Remediation: Work closely with internal and external auditors to address deficiencies, monitor remediation effectiveness, and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Fraud & Theft Case Management: Partner with regional and banner controllers to investigate and resolve fraud and theft cases (R25), implement remediation actions, and ensure timely case closure. Lead knowledge sharing initiatives across the organization.
  • SoD & Access Reviews: Collaborate with DT to conduct quarterly Segregation of Duties (SoD) and access reviews in compliance with the ICE framework.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA, CFA) are highly desirable.
  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in a similar role within a multinational environment or in a Big 4 audit firm preferred.
  • Solid understanding of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks, with hands-on experience in internal control environments, process improvement, and financial policy deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
  • A critical thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • A team player who brings energy, curiosity, and accountability to everything you do.
