About the role
- Lead, develop and manage associate veterinarians.
- Ensure retention and engagement of veterinary doctors.
- Oversee coaching program for newly hired veterinarians.
- Partner with practice manager for hospital performance.
- Ensure compliance with clinical essentials and government regulations.
- Deliver veterinary operations KPI's through leadership.
- Act as Responsible Veterinarian for veterinary permits.
- Create a culture of community and engagement among doctors.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent foreign degree required.
- Veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure with all applicable state veterinary boards for assigned hospitals.
- 3 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery practice.
