About the role
- Manage the hospital and ensure the highest quality of veterinary care and exceptional client service.
- Advocate for pets and their quality of life; establish trusting relationships with clients.
- Partner with Practice Manager to operate an effective veterinary medical team.
- Spend an average of 20%-30% on leadership duties and 70%-80% on veterinarian duties.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- Veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure with the applicable state veterinary board.
- Two years clinical experience required.
- 1-3 years coaching and developing associate doctors required.
- Meets all required clinical competencies.
