About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and evolve the reference architecture (.NET 8/9) and corporate guidelines (API First, integration patterns, security, observability);
- Lead migration from monoliths to event-driven microservices; design Bounded Contexts and API contracts;
- Specify SLIs/SLOs, availability, scalability and resilience requirements; support capacity planning;
- Design integrations with SQL Server (EF Core, performance and tuning), distributed cache (Redis) and messaging (RabbitMQ/Kafka);
- Design CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), semantic versioning, trunk-based/GitFlow strategies, technical reviews and continuous quality;
- Establish observability (logs, metrics, tracing with OpenTelemetry/ELK/Prometheus/Grafana);
- Ensure security: OWASP ASVS, OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS/TLS, secrets management (Vault/Secret Manager), hardening and compliance;
- Mentor developers and technical leads, drive RFCs/ADRs and align with stakeholders (business, security, infrastructure).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;
- C#/.NET (versions 4/5/6 ... 8/9): Web APIs, Worker Services, ASP.NET Core, middleware, filters, DI, pipelines;
- Architecture: Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event-Driven (SAGA/Outbox), API First (OpenAPI/Swagger), versioning;
- Data: EF Core (advanced mapping), SQL Server, query/index optimization, transactions;
- Messaging: RabbitMQ and/or Kafka (retries, DLQ, idempotency);
- Cloud & Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (manifests/Helm), basic autoscaling and resilience concepts;
- CI/CD: Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, gates, quality checks), testing (xUnit/NUnit), coverage and static analysis (SonarQube);
- Security: OAuth2/OIDC (Keycloak/Azure AD), secrets management (Vault/Secret Manager), OWASP, TLS/mTLS;
- Observability: OpenTelemetry, structured logging (Serilog/ELK), metrics (Prometheus), alerts/dashboards (Grafana);
- Documentation: RFCs/ADRs, C4/Structurizr diagrams, service/API catalogs;
- Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to software development (prompt engineering, LLMs, Agents and MCP).
- Differentials:
- Experience with API Gateways (e.g., Azure API Management, Tyk, APISIX);
- GCP/Azure (GKE/AKS), Terraform, ArgoCD/GitOps;
- Performance/load testing (Locust, k6), profiling;
- Basic front-end for integration (Bootstrap/React) and consuming APIs.
