About the role
- Define, document and evolve the organization’s system and solution architecture;
- Design technical solutions aligned with business needs and corporate guidelines;
- Serve as a technical reference for development teams, especially for C#/.NET-based solutions;
- Conduct architectural reviews and support technical code reviews (structural-level code review);
- Ensure scalability, performance, security and resilience of implemented solutions;
- Define development standards and best practices for C# applications and the .NET ecosystem;
- Support decisions on frameworks, libraries and tools within the Microsoft stack;
- Lead proofs of concept (POCs) and technical feasibility analyses;
- Support projects to modernize legacy C# applications to modern architectures (e.g., microservices and cloud);
- Work closely with security, data and governance teams to ensure compliance;
- Produce technical documentation and architecture diagrams (logical, physical and integration);
- Support technical estimates and planning for strategic projects;
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields;
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in Software Architecture, Cloud or related areas (preferred);
- Solid experience as a Software Architect, Solutions Architect or similar role;
- Proven experience with the .NET platform (Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET 6+);
- Advanced programming skills in C# (object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Architecture);
- Experience in modernizing legacy applications;
- Experience working in medium/large corporate environments;
- Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure or GCP);
- ASP.NET Core, Web APIs and RESTful services development;
- Microservices architecture and/or SOA;
- RESTful APIs and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar);
- Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes);
- DevOps and CI/CD pipelines;
- Data modeling and architecture (SQL Server or other relational databases);
- Application security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT);
- Architecture frameworks and best practices (e.g., TOGAF – a plus).
