About the role

  • Manage a portfolio of delinquent corporate clients overdue between 30 and 90 days, analyzing each case to identify financial capacity, sufficiency and enforceability of collateral, and the best credit restructuring alternatives aimed at reducing delinquency and the loan loss provision (PDD) for the corporate segment.
  • Consult internal systems, credit bureaus, conduct asset searches, and obtain the legal/financial information necessary to structure a credit recovery strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with Commercial, Legal, Monitoring and other areas to align strategy, involving the necessary departments and driving the best solutions for each case.
  • Monitor and participate in judicial recovery assemblies.
  • Create and maintain a history and update all contacts and activities related to credit recovery.
  • Support the commercial team in negotiations with clients and in evaluating the effectiveness of applied strategies, performing visits across the country and attending meetings according to the current collection policy and escalation schedule.
  • Structure renegotiation proposals and/or debt acknowledgments, adding collateral and adapting to the client’s payment capacity in accordance with the area’s policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage the portfolio of renegotiated contracts and debt acknowledgments, ensuring proactive and timely actions to maximize collection of amounts due or enable enforcement of collateral.
  • Prepare management and performance monitoring reports, including delinquency, recoveries and risk exposure.
  • Participate in credit committee discussions and prepare executive presentations for committees, submitting negotiation proposals for evaluation according to the approval matrix and recommending actions needed to maximize recovery prospects.
  • Propose improvements to the credit recovery process and area policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in corporate credit recovery/restructuring or credit analysis.
  • Analytical ability to assess financial statements, contracts, collateral, risks and recovery scenarios.
  • Negotiation skills and technical communication, with broad knowledge of banking products and Central Bank (Bacen) regulations.
  • Analytical mindset and ease working with data and indicators.
  • Ability to map processes and automate recurring activities.
