About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administration, configuration and maintenance of relational and non-relational databases.
Creation and maintenance of advanced SQL scripts and automation of routine tasks.
Implementation of backup and restore routines and disaster recovery strategies.
Performance monitoring, bottleneck analysis, tuning and troubleshooting.
Security management, access control and data auditing.
Supporting development and infrastructure teams with database best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
Mandatory experience with the following databases: Sybase, Progress, Aurora.
Knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle.
Advanced SQL expertise and scripting for automation.
Experience with banking systems: CRK, SPB, SINQIA, ALTBANK, PIX.
Differential:
Postgraduate degree or specific certifications in databases or information technology.
Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Previous experience in the financial sector.
