About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the squad's technical direction, responsible for managing technology processes and decisions, primarily related to infrastructure and technology architecture;
Act as the leader responsible for deliveries and the achievement of OKRs for the management ecosystem in the Finance Tribe, ensuring that developers are enabled to deliver backlog initiatives;
Responsible for budget monitoring;
Manage people by applying management techniques/tools, aiming to direct, motivate and develop the team through performance evaluations and feedback;
Assist developers, when necessary, in assigning technical tasks;
Remove impediments, make decisions mainly related to engineering matters, and ensure the quality of production deliveries;
Drive technical improvement initiatives and ensure continuous learning and development of the organization's technologies;
Maintain a data-driven mindset, influencing the squad to base analyses, decisions and prioritizations on shared data and objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in Java and its ecosystem (Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch), focused on developing scalable, service-oriented applications.
Experience with public cloud (GCP) and private cloud;
Experience with agile methodologies and management by metrics/KPIs;
Experience in people management and budget control;
Knowledge of data platform engineering;
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices (GCP platform);
Knowledge in agentization of generative AI, use of LLMs and architectures such as RAG, along with strong proficiency in Python (backend and frontend) and API development.
Experience with AI ecosystem frameworks (Vertex AI, OpenAI, LangChain), and building interactive applications with Streamlit, Gradio or modern web frameworks for conversational agent interfaces.
Availability to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo - 3x/week (near CPTM Morumbi station);
