About the role

  • Analyze and interpret accounting standards (Central Bank of Brazil - Bacen, IFRS, CVM) that apply to the group’s companies, ensuring correct application in day-to-day operations.
  • Work on topics related to IFRS 9 and CMN Resolution No. 4,966, assessing accounting impacts and supporting internal areas in the interpretation of rules.
  • Provide technical support to Business, Products, Credit, Treasury, Risk and Operations teams, clarifying questions about accounting and the accounting treatment of transactions.
  • Assess the accounting treatment of retail and wholesale financial products, such as credit operations, funding, investments, derivatives and other financial instruments.
  • Prepare and review accounting opinions, technical notes and internal guidance in a clear, objective manner and aligned with applicable standards.
  • Participate in internal projects, new-product launches and process changes, evaluating accounting and regulatory impacts.
  • Support internal audit, external audit and regulatory inquiries by providing information, analyses and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and updating of the bank’s internal accounting policies, manuals and standards.
  • Monitor regulatory and normative changes, proposing adjustments and improvements to accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards applicable to financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with:
  • - COSIF chart of accounts;
  • - Accounting routines and entries;
  • - Resolutions, normative instructions and other regulations issued by the Central Bank of Brazil.
  • Knowledge of IFRS 9 and CMN Resolution No. 4,966.
  • Experience in corporate accounting.
  • Understanding of retail and wholesale financial products and their accounting implications.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret standards and technical documents.
  • Hardworking, with a high sense of responsibility and dedication.
  • Focus and organizational skills to handle multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Commitment to quality, compliance and results.
