About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This manager will be responsible for regularly reporting key operational and strategic indicators to senior management, ensuring that all operations comply with banking regulations and that clients have a positive experience from the start of their relationship with the bank.
Administrative responsibilities include team management and staff development, operations planning and control, monitoring and analysis of performance indicators, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies; control of operational risks, preparation and presentation of management reports, budget management and cost control.
This position requires a holistic view of banking operations and the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
In addition, experience in operational risk management is crucial for the security and compliance of operations.
Considering the transformation that ABC Bank, especially the Operations area, is undergoing, it is essential that this professional has strong change management skills, leading the team through organizational and technological changes.
Knowledge of technology is an important differentiator, but the candidate must have a strategic perspective on digital transformation. The ability to integrate new technologies strategically and aligned with business objectives is fundamental to the success of the new operating model.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed undergraduate degree.
Intermediate English.
Experience in people management.
Knowledge of the financial market, especially Wholesale/Corporate Banking.
Ability to prepare executive reports.
Process certification – a plus.
Technology knowledge – a plus.
