About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute and monitor payment and settlement operations (onshore and offshore).
Operate critical systems of the Brazilian Payment System (SPB), including STR, SPI (PIX), clearing and payment arrangements.
Monitor settlements, cash positions, reserves and financial flows.
Perform operational and system reconciliations, ensuring consistency and traceability.
Handle exceptions, settlement failures and operational incidents, respecting SLAs and procedures.
Interact with partner areas (Treasury, Technology, Product, Compliance, Risk and Audit).
Support internal and external audits by providing operational evidence and information.
Rigorously follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and internal controls.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation and systematization of operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of the Brazilian Payment System (SPB).
Experience with financial settlement processes, clearing, STR and PIX (SPI).
Operational treasury experience and cash controls.
Financial and operational reconciliations.
Internal controls and operational risk awareness.
Hands-on experience with transactional banking systems.
Knowledge of financial messaging (e.g., SWIFT).
Intermediate to advanced Excel (reconciliations, controls and analyses).
Ability to read and interpret financial file layouts.
High operational discipline.
Ability to work under pressure.
Clear and objective communication.
End-to-end process-oriented mindset.
Interest in and familiarity with RPA, automation and operational systematization.
Ability to translate operational pain points into structural improvements.
Openness to change and continuous learning.
