About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute and monitor payment and financial settlement operations (onshore and offshore).
Operate critical systems of the Brazilian Payments System (SPB), including STR, SPI (PIX), clearing and payment arrangements.
Monitor settlements, cash positions, reserves and financial flows.
Perform operational and system reconciliations, ensuring consistency and traceability.
Handle exceptions, settlement failures and operational incidents, adhering to SLAs and procedures.
Interact with partner areas (Treasury, Technology, Product, Compliance, Risk and Audit).
Support internal and external audits by providing evidence and operational information.
Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and internal controls.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation and systematization of operational processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Mandatory knowledge
- Brazilian Payments System (SPB).
- Financial settlement processes, clearing, STR and PIX.
- Operational treasury and cash controls.
- Financial and operational reconciliations.
- Internal controls and operational risk.
Systems and technology
- Hands-on experience with transactional banking systems.
- Knowledge of financial messaging (e.g., SWIFT).
- Intermediate/advanced Excel (reconciliations, controls and analyses).
- Ability to read and interpret financial layouts and files.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
