About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work in the legal area, focusing especially on matters related to Banking Law, credit recovery, judicial recovery and bankruptcy.
Manage the portfolio of pending litigation in coordination with external law firms.
Analyze documentation of banking operations to propose litigation strategies and drive the management of defendant cases.
Have familiarity with banking guarantees and security interests, such as fiduciary transfer of ownership (alienação fiduciária) of movable and immovable assets.
Draft extrajudicial (out-of-court) notices.
Analyze court files, jurisprudential trends and specific cases to propose business improvements aimed at preventing litigation and mitigating risk.
Monitor contingencies and contingent liabilities related to pending litigation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Postgraduate degree in Civil Procedure or Civil Law is a plus.
Knowledge and practical experience in managing defendant litigation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare legal opinions and other legal documents.
Deadline management skills and an organized, analytical profile.
