About the role
- Respond to regulatory and self-regulatory requirements (BACEN, FEBRABAN, PRI, CDP, ESG ratings).
- Lead or support the preparation of the Bank’s ESG and sustainability reports (Integrated Report, GRI, SASB, IFRS S1 and S2).
- Support responses to investor questionnaires, rating agencies and internal and external audits.
- Support sustainable finance initiatives, green products and ESG-focused fundraising.
- Support the definition and execution of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.
- Structure, monitor and evaluate social projects and investments, ensuring alignment with the ESG strategy and impact measurement.
- Support partnerships with social organizations, institutes and social impact initiatives.
- Support the definition and implementation of the Bank’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy, in partnership with HR and senior leadership.
- Contribute to engagement initiatives, internal communications and strengthening an inclusive organizational culture.
- Support the operation of internal committees, preparing technical materials and tracking decisions.
- Support the definition, monitoring and reporting of ESG targets, including environmental, social and climate topics;
- Work on data consolidation with internal areas (Credit, Risk, Compliance, HR, Operations and Legal).
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related fields.
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in ESG, Sustainability, Sustainable Finance (plus).
- Experience
- Solid experience in ESG, sustainability, socio-environmental risk, governance or related areas, preferably at financial institutions.
- Experience with regulatory standards and requirements applicable to the financial sector (BACEN, CVM, FEBRABAN).
- Experience producing ESG reports and ratings.
- Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with frameworks and standards: GRI, SASB, IFRS S1 and S2, CDP.
- Intermediate/advanced Excel and PowerPoint for executive presentations.
- Strong understanding of ESG concepts applied to the financial sector.
- Languages
- Advanced or fluent English.
