Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate lending scenarios and manage lender relationships
Drive applications through the pipeline and ensure no opportunities or client matters lose momentum
Assess and evaluate residential and/or commercial lending scenarios, borrower financials, serviceability, and creditworthiness
Take ownership of the mortgage process from enquiry through settlement and manage active deals
Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, brokers, and partners while maintaining oversight of multiple active files
Train, mentor, and oversee administrative support staff and support improvements to SOPs and workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in mortgage broking, credit analysis, lending operations, loan processing, and mortgage settlements
Strong understanding of the Australian lending landscape, credit assessment, serviceability calculations, and lender policies
Experience handling complex deals, self-employed borrowers, and time-sensitive applications
Proven ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and communicate directly with lenders and financial institutions
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail with operational accuracy
Technical experience with Infynity CRM, loan aggregators such as Finsure, and document management systems
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
