Collaborate with lawyers, practice groups, marketing professionals, and financial management to lead pricing support for new client engagements and RFP submissions.
Develop and implement complex financial models to assess the profitability of new business proposals.
Lead the development of creative pricing solutions, including alternative fee arrangements (AFAs).
Provide guidance and support to team members, lawyers, and leadership in pricing proposals and approvals.
Help drive the evaluation and setting of standard and national billing rates using regional and practice-specific benchmarking tools, as well as internal analytics related to realization and profitability.
Proactively analyze profitability and key financial metrics for the firm’s departments, practices, and clients to drive revenue growth and assist with presenting findings to leadership.

Requirements

An undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Data Analytics.
7+ years of experience in a pricing analytics role at a law firm.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience with Excel is required.
Experience with data analytics tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) is a plus.
Regular and predictable attendance is a core requirement of this position, and candidates must be willing to work beyond standard scheduled hours when necessary to meet business needs.
