About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist the Regional Process Support Group with installations, audits, problem solving, best practice rollout, innovation, cost reductions, and maintenance of Front End process equipment within BPEMEA & Asia facilities
Support projects and overhauls with technical expertise
Generate and submit detailed reports from site visits
Handle maintenance, audits, setup, and problem-solving for Bodymaker and Trimmer equipment
Train plant and central employees at all levels
Assist plants with capital investment requests
Liaise with equipment suppliers and OEMs
Develop workable SOPs for effective process equipment practices
Promote technical skills across plants
Follow up on recommended actions
Maintain working relationships with plants and suppliers
Develop and provide technical training for new and existing plants
Be available at short notice for emergency breakdowns

Requirements

What you’ll need

ONC or Mechanical Engineering degree
3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience on various types of Body Makers
Ability to manage a small project or team
In-depth technical knowledge of how the Front End of a two-piece can plant operates
Self-managing
Self-motivated
Must be able to travel at short notice
Ability to work weekends when required
Full driving licence holder
Good team player
Good written and spoken English
