About the role
- Receive input from the commercial team regarding new products and perform sizing and feasibility analysis
- Determine raw materials and tooling for new products in collaboration with other technical areas
- Plan and carry out product development projects and homologations (product approvals) involving updates to the product at all stages
- Act as the customer's technical contact, aligning specifications and the tests required for product homologation/approval
- Register and maintain finished product items and their Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system
- Design products (SolidWorks models) with their dimensional specifications and maintain version control of drawings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience in product development
- Advanced English
- 3D CAD design software (SolidWorks)
- Microsoft Office suite
- Microsoft Project
