About the role
- Technically analyze can manufacturing processes (forming, bodymaker, washing, decoration, curing, inspection and palletizing), identifying sources of spoilage and efficiency losses;
- Monitor and analyze performance indicators (scrap, spoilage, yield, OEE, line efficiency);
- Conduct root cause analyses using MASP, PDCA, Ishikawa (fishbone) diagram, 5 Whys and FMEA;
- Develop, implement and follow up on action plans to reduce losses and increase process stability;
- Work on process standardization and review of operational parameters;
- Support the handling of non-conformities, process deviations and internal audits;
- Prepare technical reports and present results clearly and objectively, ensuring effective technical communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Production Engineering;
- Experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the metal packaging or can manufacturing industry;
- Technical knowledge of SAP;
- Experience with bodymaker, decorator, washer and oven processes (desirable);
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or TPM (desirable);
- Experience with scrap, spoilage and OEE indicators on high-speed lines.
