About the role
- Provides technical support to North & Central America
- Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work environment
- Designs computerized spreadsheet models for business decision-making
- Designs computerized models to forecast metal costs
- Maintains and analyses Metal Cost entries in Hyperion Metal Cube
- Participates in the design of standardized reporting of plant costs and KPI’s
- Prepares and analyses metal cost data to identify and measure improvement activities
- Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis as needed
- Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility
- Participates in Process Improvement activities as needed
- Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Job related experience for 2 years preferred
- Ability to apply independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard business analysis techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Advanced finance, accounting, and business principles, practices, nomenclature and procedures
- Computer spreadsheets (Excel), word processing programs (MS Word)
