Key responsibilities & impact

Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and/or overhauls equipment and related systems
Understand how to operate equipment per operation guidelines
Record and maintain accurate data on documents as necessary
Keep a neat, clean, and orderly work setting
Observe safety and security procedures
Consistently be on time to work, meetings, and training sessions
Attend all Company-sponsored training events
Become proficient in areas of production and safety policies and procedures
Maintain a flexible attitude towards improvement and change
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates Degree or College Degree (prefer electromechanical or mechatronics)
Two to three years related experience and/or training
Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to utilize common sense and skills in completing responsibilities
PLC knowledge and experience is a plus
Steam boiler and plant air compressor system experience is helpful
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, operation manuals, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting guides
Demonstration of strong work ethics (punctual, dependable, and trustworthy)
Ability to write simple correspondence
Must be able to pass any required examinations necessary to perform essential functions of the job
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Professional manner of communication and handling conflict
Ability to give and welcome feedback and contribute to building a positive team spirit
