About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for efficient day-to-day operation of the Extrusion production rooms on first shift
Manage, motivate, monitor, and evaluate leads and operators
Supervise extrusion activities and carry out mandatory responsibilities
Train operators on various equipment and processes including OSHA safety training
Monitor quality and compliance with company standards
Motivate safety and continuous improvement culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)
2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience required
Previous manufacturing supervisory experience
Food manufacturing experience is a plus
Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and 5S organizational tools; Six Sigma training a plus
Ability to demonstrate strong work ethics
