About the role

  • Deliver tax advisory and compliance services to clients
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations
  • Participate in tax research projects on tax issues
  • Help draft IRS responses and address tax authority inquiries
  • Team with leaders on special projects in corporate taxation
  • Develop recommendations for the client to consider
  • Communicate with specialty tax practices on complicated matters
  • Learn and grow from direct coaching and mentoring
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business
  • Outstanding academic performance required, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
  • Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
