About the role

  • Monitors quality, verifies information, and checks accuracy of work for self and others
  • Suggests policy & procedure improvements
  • Assists with new software vetting & implementation
  • Performs transaction processing to test code and workflow; assists with workflow and knowledge base documentation
  • Performs account reconciliation
  • Processes client billings and A/R
  • Applies cash receipts to open A/R invoices
  • Creates customer credit memos as approved by client
  • Applies customer credit memos to open A/R invoices
  • Oversees local tax and license filings
  • Provides assistance, information, or support to others to build or maintain relationships
  • Effectively applies technical knowledge to solve a range of problems.
  • Develops and uses systems to organize and keep track of information or work progress.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Ability to commute as needed throughout the region; to include Baker Tilly's offices
  • Ability to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and location
  • Seasonal flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Technology-related coursework highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills; Ability to understand own and others' emotions in order to achieve desired goals
  • Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills; Organize information and exercise well-reasoned judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate confidence in decision making and poise in professional setting
  • Work effectively both as part of a team and independently
