About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver safe, reliable, high-quality wireline tractor and mechanical intervention services for Baker Hughes (Altus Legacy)
  • Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues on tractor and mechanical tools
  • Operate, maintain, and optimize rotation and mechanical equipment
  • Execute field operations according to Baker Procedures, industry standards, and client expectations
  • Prepare, verify, and control equipment required for tractor operations
  • Lead completion of the final Baker (Altus) job package/Job Planner, including reporting, documentation, and quality verification
  • Coordinate Baker Hughes (Altus) activities at district level with Operations and Sales teams
  • Collect and validate customer-provided information for job preparation and execution
  • Complete job documentation and maintain equipment to the highest standard
  • Mentor, train, and provide hands-on guidance to Field Specialists and junior personnel
  • Recommend performance evaluations, hiring decisions, and promotions to the Operations Manager
  • Participate in professional development, technical courses, and project work
  • Uphold HSE excellence and comply with internal standards, regulatory guidelines, and procedures
  • Report non-conformities, equipment issues, and undesired incidents to the Operations Manager
  • Clean, maintain, and present tools, vehicles, and equipment to professional standards
  • Contribute to onshore equipment upgrades, maintenance programs, and quality control initiatives
  • Participate in technical/safety meetings, project reviews, and operational planning sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree / Technical Diploma
  • 3+ years of directly related wireline tractor and/or mechanical intervention experience (Preferable)
  • Valid CDL Class A Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Towing trailer experience highly preferred
  • Flexible ability to travel and work in other districts across the U.S. when jobs dispatch and help is needed during your work hitch
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal reporting tools
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • High organizational standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation
