About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Selling product(s) and services including system upgrades, service contracts and inspection services within assigned geographical area.
- Developing a pipeline by having a clear understanding of sales processes and stages.
- Forecasting of system and service sales to the region director including weekly deal and pipeline reviews.
- Managing CRM (Deal Machine) to ensure accuracy of forecast to the business.
- Traveling throughout the territory to manage installed base, developing new opportunities and managing customer relationships.
- Working with Application Engineers to qualify the opportunity, developing deal strategies and becoming the technical solution of choice for the customer.
- Driving deals to closure including quoting, negotiation and OTR (Order to Remittance) handoff.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- STEM discipline preferred
- Have a minimum of 3+ additional years of experience in sales
- Be able to travel 50%-70% of the time
- Possess experience in key strategic segments: Avionics, Electronics, Space and Defense, and Automotive/Electric Vehicles (Preferred)
- Have up to 5 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (Preferred)
- Possess Capital Sales Experience with Deal Values greater than $750,000 USD (Preferred)
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to manage several sales opportunities simultaneously
