About the role
- Selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects within a geographic area
- Handling products and systems requiring technical knowledge

- Leading a department with large estimated orders
- Handling local focus on Medium size territory
- Developing, implementing and executing strategic and tactical sales plans aligned to the European business plan to generate growth in the upstream Chemicals market in Europe
- Establishing long-term strategic relationships with key customers at corporate facilities and in the field to create sales opportunities and developing commercial growth strategies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather market intelligence to identify opportunities for sales growth
- Owning the full sales lifecycle by creating innovative solutions for customers using our product portfolio
- Cooperating with (technical) sales support to realize sales
- Handling diverse clients in a region
- Ensuring compliance for reporting of sales KPIs by meeting our service delivery requirements
Requirements
- Have successfully completed your studies in Chemical Engineering or an equal field
- Have experience in working in chemical production as well as in sales environment
- Have proven experience in a similar role, during which you will have built up a relationship of trust with your client and achieved the required commercial objectives
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of customer requirements and upstream market conditions
- Have a good understanding of the financial and budgetary aspects of the role, including P&L and cash flow management
- Be fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
- Be able to travel up to 40% (within the defined Sales Region)
