Program Manager – Well Construction Technology

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Driving development projects and programs from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, cost, quality, and business objectives.
- Partnering with Project Leaders and Product Managers to drive execution, coordination, and decision-making across functions.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, forecasts, and milestone tracking.
- Monitoring financial performance, including forecasts, actuals, accruals, variances, capitalization activities, and implementing corrective actions.
- Identifying, assessing, and managing risks and issues, including mitigation planning and escalation when required.
- Facilitating governance processes, leading status updates, portfolio reviews, and stakeholder communications.
- Driving stakeholder alignment through structured communication and effective collaboration across global and multicultural teams.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of Project Management Office (PMO) processes, standards, and tools.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Have proven experience in project or program management, ideally within product, software, or technology-driven environments.
- Have strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and project controls.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Have hands-on experience with project planning tools such as MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work across cultures.
- Demonstrate a structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven working style with strong ownership and accountability.
