Quality Engineer – Compliance

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Being a member of the Internal Audit and Compliance Team in performing evaluation for compliance with regulatory, statutory or industry standards requirements.
- Assessing compliance of systems, processes, and procedures through internal audits
- Participating in improvement projects as assigned
- Providing feedback in the form of audit findings and observation and review corrective actions
- Providing regional support on regulatory and industry standards expertise
- Raising corrective action requests for any nonconformities identified, follow up and review effectiveness until proper closure
- Serving as a subject matter expert for industry standards, regulatory and stator requirements
- Identifying and/or implement regulatory compliance initiatives based on current and forthcoming regulatory requirements
- ParticipatIng in HSE programs as assigned
- Keeping work areas of the facility in a safe, clean and organized manner at all times in accordance to with 6S Checklist.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have a Bachelor's degree (or Global degree equivalent)
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of functional quality experience
- Have Certified Auditor status ISO 9001:2015 and/or API Q1/API Q2 or deemed subject matter expert for Oil & Gas industry quality standards
- Demonstrate problem solving skills
- Be able to speak and write English fluently.
