About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships while managing the day‑to‑day operations of assigned accounts.
- Building and maintaining long‑term, strategic relationships with customers by understanding their business goals, operational challenges, and chemical process requirements.
- Originating and developing sales opportunities by identifying customer needs and aligning appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including technicians, account representatives, and technical teams, to drive projects, technical sales initiatives, and innovative customer solutions.
- Managing the day‑to‑day operational aspects of existing refinery chemical process business across assigned customer accounts.
- Developing, delivering, and leading business reviews, technical presentations, and performance updates for customers, internal teams, and executive leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have experience in account management, sales, or customer‑facing roles within industrial, chemical, or refinery environments.
- Have the ability to understand customer business needs and translate them into value‑based technical and commercial solutions.
- Have strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Have experience managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver projects and services.
- Have a solid understanding of sales processes, service standards, and compliance requirements.
- Have a proactive, organized, and results‑driven approach to managing customer accounts and opportunities.
