Defining and executing the global hardware engineering strategy and platform to align with business objectives, while overseeing projects from concept through delivery
Serving as the technical authority for global mechanical, electrical, and automation hardware standards
Leading innovation and digital transformation by championing AI‑driven tools for CAD automation
Managing budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting bid approvals and feasibility assessments
Monitoring and improving performance through KPIs such as standards compliance, reuse rates, and first‑pass yield
Hiring, developing, and retaining top engineering talent, mentoring local leaders, and cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading global engineering organizations across regions such as Germany, China, India, and the USA
Background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Non‑Destructive Testing Application Engineering
Proven track record in engineering transformation, including building global standards, processes, and engineering repositories
Familiarity with NDT environments, which will be considered a significant advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management capabilities
Ability to drive innovation and digital adoption within complex engineering ecosystems
