About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage SP&S deals from a contracting and commercial perspective throughout the deal lifecycle.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions, providing commercial and contractual leadership.
Develop practical and innovative ways to identify & mitigate contract risks.
Support bid teams in proposal development, risk management, scope definition, pricing and incentives, customer communications, and issue resolution.
Manage all commercial and contractual related aspects of a project during the execution phase.
Ensure compliance with the project specific contractual administration requirements.
Provide advice, assistance, and guidance on project specific contractual matters.
Ensure commercial risks are identified and managed across project scopes of work.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Business or related experience.
Have detailed knowledge of energy contracts, terms and conditions and negotiation techniques.
Strong commercial leadership skills with proven capability of working in a matrix environment and of leading by influence.
Understanding of key contractual and commercial risks and areas for opportunity.
Ability to lead project risk review process and assessments.
Negotiating Skills: To secure favorable outcomes, flexibility to understand and negotiate alternative contractual and commercial positions with customers.
Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective Team player.
Be willing to travel.
