About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for overall engineering leadership on project
- Responsible for the project technical relationship with the client
- Accountable for the detailed engineering integrated planning and execution to the plan
- Coordinate COE’s engineering activities to achieve overall budgeted hours for all packages
- Lead monthly scheduled reviews that track progress and spending by team
- Monitor, explain and resolve any deviations from the early baseline on the S-curve for engineering
- Drive on-time delivery through regular meetings and detailed team engagement
- Issue and approve manpower needed to execute to the schedule and any additional scopes that enters the project
Requirements
What you’ll need- Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-based discipline
- Previous experience in positions such as project engineering, system engineering or project engineering management at product or system level
- Be able to create and lead multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed teams
- Be able to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts, and deduce solutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Be available to travel internationally for project needs and for short term assignments
